Where do my photos go?

To the server you connected in Settings: ours, a friend's or your own. You can connect several and choose how the library is spread between them.

I removed the originals from my phone. How do I get a photo back?

Open it in the library: the full version loads from the server.

Why didn't my iPhone get its space back?

iOS keeps deleted photos for 30 days in Recently Deleted. Empty it in the Photos app and the space is freed at once.

I lost my phone. Are my photos gone?

No, they're on the server. Sign in on the new phone. If encryption was on, the key comes back through your Sandyk account.

How do I run my own server?

With one Docker command on a NAS, a computer or a VPS, or as a Home Assistant add-on. No public IP needed. See Your own server.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete Account. More in the privacy policy.
